It comes with an extra filter, roller brush & a cleaning brush. Assembling it is ridiculously easy. Just pop the handle in & you're good to go. The base is assembled just as easy since it's just snapping the accessory holders into place. It even comes with a bottle of floor cleaner.
You can vacuum completely dry, but it'll whine (using a voice prompt) that there is no water. The voice prompts are pretty loud, but thankfully you can turn them off using the button on the back of the vacuum. The motor is quiet which in turn means the suction sucks. This is really a mop masquerading as a hybrid vacuum since it can't pick up anything larger than a small clump of dust. I tried vacuuming small wood chips & it was no good. Even on caked on dust it didn't pick up anything so there's no scrubbing power either.
Filling the water tank keeps the brush wet. It mops as it vacuums. It also continuously cleans the brush using the water. Everything gathers in the dirty water tank which gets only to about 1/4 full before it shuts off. The vacuum auto adjusts the suction power depending on the surface. This is hit or miss since frequently even though you're on the same surface it'll go into higher modes. The mode changes can be startling as it goes from green light to orange light to RED LIGHT (maximum suction.) The vacuum also starts sounding like it's about to explode when it shifts to higher modes.
Cleaning it is a breeze as you pop out the tanks with the press of a button then drain them wherever. Each tank has a rubber seal that you can just flip open. Once you empty the dirty water tank you can start self-cleaning mode once the vacuum is on the base. Self-cleaning mode takes about 7 minutes & will use the rest of the clean water if you measure it right. It doesn't seem to take long to charge. I went from 40% to a full charge in about an hour.
What these mops do surprisingly well is clean heavily soiled concrete, stone and other rough surfaces seemingly without damaging the roller. I found no lint or anything clinging to concrete in our basement and garage, even when it ran over cracked/jagged areas. It actually worked the same if not better than the expensive 3500 PSI pressure washer we bought specifically to clean the concrete walkways! This saved a ton of time and energy since we avoided having to pressure wash the basement floor in a house we bought that hadn't been cleaned in decades. I'm talking layers of caked on dirt being peeled off with every slow pass. However the downsides become apparent with the small capacity dirty water tank that for some reason is marked as full at 50-66% capacity. It's mind boggling how often I had to empty the dirt water tank while the clean water reservoir remained relatively full. I probably have to empty the dirty water tank 3-4 times for every full clean water reservoir.
On long runs the brush eventually becomes so saturated it is unusable for several days as even the self-cleaning mode which just spins the brush dry does nothing. This means there's lots of potential for bacteria to grow which I found out the hard day once I started smelling mildew and had to manually wash the brush with soap, string it out then it finally dried on the base. The self-cleaning mode also randomly stops the cycle without any sort of reason why. It got to the point where I started sitting there in-order to see if it does a full cycle out of paranoia.
Overall this could use some work. They should implement a heated element to the base to aid with drying things (which I believe is in the newer models.) The base's design has spare accessory storage in mind which sometimes manufacturers can forget. Customers are left with a $400+ hole in their wallet which might have been better spent on a robot mop vacuum. The portability and ease of use, especially when one needs to immediately clean up small messes may be more attractive for a lot of people though.
